Dana & Alex - May 2025

Dana and Alex's wedding felt effortless and full of love, with the perfect weather setting the most dreamy backdrop for their ceremony. We're so excited to share the details of their day!

How did you meet your significant other? How did they propose?

We met in November 2020 through Bumble and after talking for a couple days straight, had our first date a few days later, where we closed the restaurant down talking and laughing all night.

Alex proposed to Dana on January 19, 2024 in their home in the middle of a snowstorm, as Dana was making coffee and preparing for work to be over. They celebrated at Nobu in Atlantic City the following night.

Why did you choose The Farmhouse for your wedding?

We chose the Farmhouse not only because of how beautiful the venue was, but it was perfect for a more intimate wedding, which was important to us, with the whole venue being ours for the day and evening. The inside looked timeless, elegant and welcoming. The outside ceremony space with the willow trees and flowers were beautiful and we knew if we married at the Farmhouse, we wanted to have our ceremony outdoors.

What was one of your favorite moments on your wedding day?

Our most favorite moments from our special day was our first dance and private last dance and how special they both were to both of us.

What song did you choose for your first dance?

Our first dance song was “Your Song” by Elton John as we love Elton, and have enjoyed seeing him live together. Our private last dance was “Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton and the perfect way to end our night.

What other special details did you include on your big day?

Other special details we included were his and her favorite candies as favors for our guests, 4 bottles of champagne for guests to sign for anniversaries as a guest book, pictures of us through the venue over the years, and including our dog Morgan as a signature cocktail, and with cutouts of her face for the photo booth.

Your wedding meal is part of the memory- what dishes (or drinks!) stood out to you or your guests?

The chicken roulade and crab cakes were incredible. Our guests raved about cocktail hour apps, and loved the ahi tuna bites, chicken and waffle skewers and veggie egg rolls.

What do you hope your guests remember most about your wedding day?

The amount of love Alex and I have for one another, and how much it meant for all of our closest family and friends to be there to celebrate with us.

If you had one piece of advice for future couples, what would it be?

Remember the meaning behind the day and that the day is about you both, and to not allow others opinions or thoughts affect your decisions. Don’t stress the small details and allow yourself some grace in the planning process. The day goes by so fast so take it all in, spend the entire night together so you both can look back on it all and both remember those special moments together.
