Jalynn & Tristan - September 2025

We’re thrilled to finally share photos from Jalynn and Tristan's beautiful Fall wedding! Their love was felt by everyone throughout the entire day, especially because of how completely present the two of them were for every single perfect moment.

How did you meet your significant other? How did they propose?

We met Freshman year of college in 2017. We became friends for the whole 1st year of college and then by the end of the summer going into our sophomore year we started dating. One of our first outings was a trip to NYC to go see the Rockefeller center Christmas tree, so 6 years later he proposed to me on Christmas Eve in front of the tree with our family and closest friends. I had no idea and was completely surprised. The minute I saw my parents there, I knew something was happening. It was one of the best nights of my life.

Why did you choose The Farmhouse for your wedding?

We chose the Farmhouse because the minute we walked in we instantly could see ourselves getting married here and we could picture all of our family and friends celebrating. It was the first time during venue touring that I got chills. From that moment everything else got better. The staff were so attentive and welcoming! We loved how inclusive they are and how they really pay attention to what you want. We LOVED the willow trees and how beautiful the property is. The food was AMAZING!!!!

What was one of your favorite moments on your wedding day?

Tristan's favorite moment was when he watched me walk down the aisle. We stuck to a very traditional moment and didn't do a first look and we 100% don't regret doing it. We loved seeing each other for the first time walking down the aisle. My favorite moment is when we did our first touch and private vows. I love how we were able to just be in the moment and relieve some nerves by just holding hands and reading our vows privately with just us. It felt like time stopped for just a minute.

What special details did you include in your big day?

Some special details were, our memorial table to honor our grandparents, our audio guestbook that was an old fashioned phone that people could leave voicemails for us. For our wedding party entrances, we did bottle service signs and even had a picture cut out of Milo our cat!

Your wedding meal is part of the memory- what dishes (or drinks!) stood out to you or your guests?

Everything was AMAZING! But some fan favorites were, our specialty drinks (jack and coke) and (dirty Shirley), the bacon wrapped scallops, the vegetable egg rolls and then the cornbread stuffed chicken!! We loved that while our wedding party and family were taking pictures, Samantha and our wedding coordinator Laura, brought us drinks and appetizers so we could enjoy cocktail hour too! We definitely felt spoiled!

What do you hope your guests remember most about your wedding day?

I hope our guests truly just had so much fun. I wanted our wedding to feel like a big party with everybody having the time of their lives. The staff made it happen and all of our guests truly had so much fun and loved how helpful and attentive the staff were. It truly made the day stress free.

If you had one piece of advice for future couples, what would it be?

Everybody always told us that the day goes by quickly and it TRULY does. Enjoy every moment and try not to worry about the little things. I also would tell future couples to never leave each other's side, fully be present with each other.
