A Country Caterers Coordinator will synchronize all activities pertaining to your event.

The Farmhouse rental fee is $500.00, based on a four and a half hour reception.
An extra half-hour may be added to your reception for an additional $5.00 per person.

The Ceremony fee is $600.00 ($400.00 January through March)
Wedding ceremonies include your choice of two garden gazebos, beautifully landscaped grounds, and a one hour rehearsal, directed by our coordinator.
The bridal party may arrive one hour prior to the ceremony.
If additional time is needed, prior to the ceremony, the fee is $100.00 per hour.
Bird seed or fresh flower petals are the only things allowed to be thrown after a ceremony.

We offer a $3.00 per person discount for receptions taking place November through March.

The initial deposit to secure your date is $1000.00.
($2000.00 down is required if event is taking place within 6 months).
A second deposit of $1000.00 is due 6 months prior to your function.
Please mark your calendar about this deposit. We don’t send out reminders.
A third payment of 75% of the estimated balance is due thirty days prior to your event.
Final payment is due 10 business days prior to your event.
We do not accept credit cards. Cash, check or money orders are acceptable forms of payment.
Late payments must be made in cash or bank check. There is a $50 fee for returned checks.

Cancellations are handled in the following manor:
If you cancel your function before your second deposit and the date is re-booked, you will receive half of your initial deposit. If you cancel after you have made your second deposit, only this deposit will be returned, if we re-book your date.
If date cannot be re-booked, the total deposit to date is forfeited.

Children ages 5 through 7 are half price. Children 4 and under are not charged for unless a meal is requested. Children’s meals are available for purchase.

We will provide a meal for up to 3 of your vendors.

Wedding cakes at The Farmhouse are professionally prepared by Cannon’s Bakery or Sweets to You by Ginger. Please order your cake 3 months before your event if possible.

The capacity of the Farmhouse is 175.

There is a 60 person minimum for a Friday or Sunday reception.
100 person minimum may apply for a Saturday reception during peak times of the year.

Due to standard health practices, prepared leftover food may not be removed from The Farmhouse.

A head count will be taken at events not requiring place cards.

Delaware State law prohibits the purchase or consumption of alcohol by those under the age of 21. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who; cannot verify their age by providing proper identification, or anyone who appears to be intoxicated. The customer is liable for their guests safety after leaving The Farmhouse and their safe arrival home. We will gladly retain a taxi for anyone needing safe transportation, however, we are not responsible for the transportation fare.

No outside alcohol may be brought into The Farmhouse.
If desired, alcoholic favors can be through The Farmhouse.

Menu prices are revised every January and can be subject to change without notice.
We also reserve the right to make necessary changes to room and set-up arrangements as well as menu choices.

The customer is responsible for any damaged or lost equipment or furnishings, or damage to The Farmhouse. We are not responsible for any items left after a function. Please call to confirm your date prior to signing this contract. At that time, you can schedule an appointment to bring in your contract along with the required deposit.
